This green (raw) Puerh is compressed using predominately large tea leaves harvested from the surrounds of our most loved village in the Yi Wu Mountain and processed in the village. Picked from the first flush early spring from old trees then dried, hand sorted and pressed using the traditional stone press.
The tree quality level was rated at 1-3 where 11 is the lowest possible grading.
The packed Puerh has a strong good aroma prior to unwrapping.
The tea has golden liquor that is sweet and smooth to taste with a long finish and lingering aroma.
This is a fine example of a mild MengHai style Puerh. Still a young Puerh but drinkable now, will benefit greatly with age and appreciate in value, this brick represents a great value tea for the drinker and collector alike.
